About AV Elections

AV Elections is an independent, non-partisan voter-information site for the Alberni Valley's 2026 general local election — the City of Port Alberni, the six electoral areas of the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, and School District 70 Pacific Rim.

We publish who is running, what each office actually does, and how, when and where to vote, drawn from the official sources published by each jurisdiction's chief election officer. We do not endorse candidates and we accept no money from candidates, elector organizations, parties or governments.

Everything we write about a candidate is a verifiable public fact with a source; anything a candidate writes about themselves is labelled as theirs. Read our Editorial policy for the full rules, and use Request a correction if you spot an error.
