Connected to Port Alberni since 1968, Don attended school here before leaving Vancouver Island for work. After many years away, he returned more than a decade ago and has lived in the community since. Throughout that time, he has followed local civic discussions and brings a long-term resident’s perspective to the 2026 mayoral race.
