Candidate statement
Supplied by the candidate · not verifiedI value Beaver Creek's inherent beauty as a rural community. I value counseling together to move worthwhile projects forward. I have found that good people working together, collaborating together, do good things which affect today and pay dividends into the future. I value civility to all, respect to all, listening to all, going to bat for those who have a quiet voice. I believe in giving appropriate attention to all facets of the area of responsibility that falls within both Beaver Creek and in the Regional District. I believe in listening more and talking less when it comes to peoples opinions. I believe in approaching public matters with an open mind and seeking credible sources to understand the facts and how they will affect those to whom I serve and will be affected by such decisions. I am a team player. I want my fellow committee members to contribute and succeed in Beaver Creek, I want our neighboring communities to succeed.
